Premierminister a. D. Prof. Jerzy Buzek und Staatspräsident Lech Walesa am 07.04.2008 in Gdansk Stanislaw Shushkevich, Belarus` formal head of state between 1991 and 1994, has received a statuette symbolizing a dove of peace from former Polish President Lech Walesa. The ceremony was held in Poland`s Gdansk on May 12, Polish media reported. Instituted at the initiative of German artist Richard Hillinger in 1999, the statuette is a rotating human rights prize whose next holder is picked up by the current one.
